- Books will not be issued to your students for more than another week because students are still shifting schools. Impact wants the dust to settle before we issue books.
- When we do issue books, please sign the textbook form as soon as you receive it.
- All communication related to this class will be posted on this blog. Please use it, it can be a great resource and answer a lot of questions.

- reflect the importance of building a common math language after the Over the Phone Activity
- express what they already know about Algebra 1 on the diagnostic test.
- express what they already know about transformations on the Chapter One test.
1. Do Now - Algebra Diagnostic (20 minutes)
2. Check in (5 minutes)
3. Over the Telephone Activity (20 minutes)
4. Chapter 1 Test (25 minutes)
5. Exit/Close
HW2 -- Get a 180-page, 5-subject notebook by Monday, Aug 22.
